I want to point out that this site is in Danish! It might be a bit hard to read for some of us...

But I suppose (don't read any Danish myself) our Danish readers will welcome it.

Hmm, this is a very good forum and hosting site -- http://mycubix.com . Community hosting, you post 30 good posts and then get paid-quality hosting for free.

Also http://w3schools.com -- some of the best tutorials on the web, and http://w3c.org

Aaron, thank you for your contribution :)

Does anyone else have some nice links? I would like to mention www.udvikleren.dk for those of you who speaks danish, since I made it my self, and it has been a nice (at least I think so?) community for developers for more than 3 years now :)

One I always keep my eye on is Communication Arts

http://www.commarts.com/ca/

It is probably 'the' biggest graphic design/web design showcase magazine around and is great for seeing what current trends are like.

this one:
http://doepud.co.uk/

FYI, for anyone who thinks i'm trying to advertise w/ that link-- (cause i could see someone thinking that!) -- the purpose is that those guys KNOW HOW to present a web dev business, and they provide great advice and tips (somewhere on there... gotta do some digging).

i only wish i had that kind of talent represented there! hehe...
one can only put so much polish on a pile of rubbish-- fortunately, i've got a good can of polish here...

Hi

As a long (too long I suppose) time user of WebCoder, it has been some time since I visited with you guys and gals.

A site I would recommend? www.csscreator.com

Why (aside from I am a moderator there :) )?

It has a massively visited forum just for sorting out those pesky css problems.

What are it's aims?

To promote the clean easy use of css by way of building sites with semantically correct and accessible html.

What can you expect? Great help. Loads of how to articles. Tons of searchable answers to common problems/faq's.

What do new members most often get surprised by? We hate Dreamweaver (the Weaver of Lies) and Interweb Destroyer (Internet Explorer to you). And using tables for layout and styling. Bad bad people use these. Not accessible for the visually impaired who use text readers. Not semanticlly correct. Usually bloats the page code.

Come on down. We have a list of recommeded text editors, and I sing the praises of WC2005. I keep trying others but come back.
